Energie – Age Model in Traditional Eastern Medicine
Energies evolve from birth to old age, and even from months to minutes. The graph below illustrates the typical Traditional Indo-Tibetan Model of these Energies from birth to old age. A baby is grounded and the Beken energy dominates. At maturity we feel full of energy and Tripa is dominant. When aging, we tend to worry more and have less appetite which is a feature of increased rLung and lower Beken and Tripa energies.
Energies
Balance
The Balance for each Energy should be interpreted with great care as both the Questionnaire and the Model are based on empirical sources. However, we can draw the following generic tendencies:
- If Your rLung is above the Model (blue): your nervous system might be over-activates, potentially getting to much worries,
- If Your Tripa is above the Model (blue): you might experience burst of irritability and heart arrhythmias, liver or vision issues,
- If Your Beken is above the Model (blue): you may feel under stimulated, sleepy with digestive issues.
- If Your rLung is below the Model (green): you generally feel relaxed,
- If Your Tripa is below the Model (green): your metabolism might be slow from time to time,
- If Your Beken is below the Model (green): you might experience unusual instability or unsettling mind.
- If Your rLung is in balance (gold): you generally have a sense of good and fast thinking,
- If Your Tripa is in balance (gold): you are likely to feel energized and have clear mind set,
- If Your Beken is in balance (gold): your life is generally stable.
